The Devil Tried to Kill Me
 

Greetings!

 

 

     Have you ever been tempted to kill yourself? In my new video, Spiritual Digestion and Assimilation, I share a near death experience that happened about 20 years ago when I nearly crashed my 68 Corvette into a tree traveling at 125 MPH. 
     "The car is fiberglass," the devil said. "It will disintegrate into fragments upon impact and you will never have to put up with people hurting you again." Then a still small voice whispered in my ear, "Call upon me, Danny, and I will help you." My lips were frozen and my heart filled with anger when the Lord miraculously delivered me. The oil of the Holy Spirit lubricated my locked lips as I attempted to claim the Bible promise: "When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19)." 
      After quoting two more promises in the Word: "The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe" (Prov. 18:10) and "Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me" (Ps. 50:15), the victory came. I immediately slowed the super-fast, sports car down and pulled to the side of the road. "What just happened," I asked myself? The near-tragic experience taught me a lesson I would never forget--that God is able to deliver a helpless soul who cries out to Him in his time of need. 
     This week's message is one of my favorites. It is a message on the parallel between eating and assimilating food with eating and assimilating the Word. "What food is to the body, Christ must be to the soul. Food cannot benefit us unless we eat it, unless it becomes a part of our being. So Christ is of no value to us if we do not know Him as a personal Saviour. A theoretical knowledge will do us no good. We must feed upon Him, receive Him into the heart, so that His life becomes our life. His love, His grace, must be assimilated" (DA 389).
     The new video has several warm stories that will touch your heart. Listen to the time I went to Mexico in search of an alternative therapy for cancer to help my late mother-in-law. Also, how I met Charlotte Gerson, the daughter of Dr. MaxGerson, who actually thought I was a spy from some television station who was on a mission to make a negative documentary on the Gerson Therapy. To the contrary, we became life-long friends and, to this day, admire each other's work in natural healing. In fact, I spoke to Charlotte this week and invited her to our Health and Healing Crusade for the seventh time. Now, at 92, this may be the last time you hear her speak in Lodi. I am so blessed to know her and learn by her side. 
     Speaking of the Health and Healing Crusade, please mark you calendars. It cleanses all 7 elimination organs of the body as Christ purifies us from all sin. We are cleansed from sin by the blood of Christ, and we must cleanse our blood of tox-sins for true healing to take place. "Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow" (Psalm 51:7). Hyssop was the herb of choice to symbolize Christ's cleansing blood because it does the following:

 

1. Increases secretions and discharge of the urine - KIDNEYS

2. Helps the excretion of toxins through the pores - SKIN 

3. Induces movements of the bowel - COLON

4. Removes catarrh and mucus from bronchial tubes- LUNGS

5. A bitter herb for that cleanses the liver - LIVER

6. Useful for discharging toxins through the lymph - LYMPH

7. Increases circulation of the blood - BLOOD
