We Need Your Help!
Greetings!
Before I tell you more about our exciting health and healing weekend in Lodi, CA., June 14-16, let me update you on some of the blessings that happened the past two weeks at Modern Manna.
1) Our program at Tabernacle SDA Church in Portland, Oregon was awesome! Over 300 people attended on Saturday and 200 for the lectures and raw demos on Sunday. Charmaine and I received 7 invitations to speak in other places including South Africa.
2) The plans for two new bathrooms for BellaVita Lifestyle Center were approved (approximately cost $15,000). We are so excited, but still need $5,000 more so we can start the much-needed addition).
3) We are refurbishing areas of BellaVita and the storage room for the new TV studio (cost $2,000).
4) We are moving forward with new health outreach programs for Modern Manna which include children's programs and health workshops.
5) 8,500 beautiful fliers/invitations were sent out for the Health and Healing Crusade 2013 (overall Crusade cost - approximately $14,000).
6) We will be holding a Health Crusade and evangelistic outreach in Suva, Fiji, July 2-7, at the Civic Center Auditorium. We will be having children's health programs, health lectures, natural remedies workshops, and raw demos (funds needed approximately $10,000).
7) We are scheduled for ASI in August in Orland, FL., and will debut our beautiful new R I S E N Trade Show booth (cost for flights, 2 booths, and accommodations - approximately $3,000).
8) We begin another BellaVita program tomorrow. 12 guests will be arriving for physical, mental, and spiritual cleansing and renewing and we need your prayers!
I get stressed every year before the Health Crusade because we work so hard organizing the event, ordering products, scheduling workers and speakers, arranging the media crew, advertising, designing the stage, ordering the food to feed the large crowd, and fund-raising. Please help us with your tax-deductible donations before June 14! This is crunch time for us because the Super Health Weekend is right around the corner, and we are moving at lightening speed! Going into the crusade with some of the expenses met ahead of time takes a lot of pressure off of us. I wrote a check yesterday for $3,500 just for the rental of the Lodi Grape Festival grounds.
We also would love to see as many of our friends and spiritual family at this year's Health and Healing Crusade. We want to make this year's event very practical. That is why I will be teaching a Natural Remedies Workshop and Charmaine, Daniel Jr. and I will be showing you how you can open and operate your own wellness home as a Certified Natural Hygiene Coach.
Our theme this year is Preparing for Eternity. I believe time is so short and the last events will be rapid ones. We MUST get in shape physically, mentally, and spiritually for the coming crisis that is about to break upon this earth. Oh, friends, we will be tested to the max! The time is at hand! And please pray for me as I write my sermon for this year's Crusade called Health Reform and the Second Coming!

This year our speakers include the following:
 Charlotte Gerson - A regular face at the annual event. People love the healing wisdom of Charlotte Gerson, 91, daughter of Dr. Max Gerson. Charlotte will present on Saturday and Sunday. Her presentations this year: "Healing Supposedly Incurable Diseases" and "Healing Genetic Diseases: The New Science."
Christian Berdahl - A well-known face at the Health and Healing Crusades. Christian is a dynamic speaker with a beautiful voice. This year he will challenge you with two new presentations: "The Internet Infection" and "Social Media Mayhem." Christian travels the world sharing his transforming messages on music, health, and the gospel. He has an amazing testimony! He is the Director of Shepherd's Call Ministry and has been appeared many times on 3ABN and other TV networks.
Margie Salcedo Rice, vocalist and violinist has been praising the Lord with her inspiring original music for over 30 years. Her new solo album, In Your Holiness was released in 2010. Margie is currently seen on Three Angels Broadcasting Network, (3ABN), Loma Linda Broadcasting Network, (LLBN) and Hope Channel, Christian satellite stations with a worldwide viewing audience. She has appeared on the popular Voice of Prophecy Family Reunion Video and Concert Series since 1998.
 Esmie Branner - Attended Andrews University Masters Degree program in Social Work. Esmie has worked as a professor at Weimar College, and taught developmental Psychology. She is the author of "Beyond The Veil Of Darkness." A powerful story of her life and spiritual experience in Saudi Arabia during her first marriage to a Muslim. God has been more than gracious to Esmie. He has rescued and saved her, and now she can't help but tell of His greatness. She lives for Christ and the good news of the Gospel. You will really enjoy her amazing story!
Arthur Branner - He received a Master of Divinity from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He is currently pursuing his Doctoral studies in the area of Biblical Counseling. He is a Captain in the U.S. Army, and served a tour of duty from 2004-2005 in Iraq. It was there his battalion the 250th Military Intelligence conducted over 4,000 dangerous missions. Every soldier returned home without loss of life or limb. He believes that the future of our society is to a large degree determined by the quality of our families. Thus, together with his wife, "Families 4 Him" Ministries was created.
 Daniel Vierra - A fine young man who has spent his life serving the Lord in ministry. Daniel, 26, is manager of Modern Manna and BellaVita Lifestyle Center. He supervises the 10-day cleanse at BellaVita, and has trained many workers and managers for the program. He is the organizer of the annual Health and Healing Crusade. He has a wealth of health knowledge and will share his expertise on cleansing and detoxifying the body using natural remedies. He will also share how to open and operate your own wellness home or center at this year's crusade.
Charmaine Vierra - A 10-year cancer survivor trained through the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine as a Food for Life Nutrition & Cooking Class Instructor, Stanford Prevention Research Center as a Stanford Healthy Lifestyle Program� Facilitator, as well as a CHIP� Facilitator. She is a highly motivating speaker and offers innovative programs to help individuals make positive dietary and behavioral lifestyle changes. Charmaine attended Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, the world's premier organic raw vegan chef school. As Executive Chef of BellaVita and R I S E N, she will be demonstrating her BellaVegan recipes for adults and children.
Danny Vierra - Director of Modern Manna Ministries, BellaVita Lifestyle Center, and R I S E N - Remedial and Integrated School of Evangelism and Naturopathy. He is a dynamic, international speaker and author who specializes in detoxification programs, alternative therapies, and natural medicine.
