It has been a long and hard winter for most of the country, but as we spring forward towards spring, we realize that this means that the busy military moving season is quickly approaching. We know what a hectic time this can be for our military families and we would love to assist you with your advertising needs or with your search for the perfect home.

A quick reminder to our customers who placed their ad a couple of months ago in anticipation of the busy PCS season; this may be a good time to upload timely photos and make sure that your ad correctly reflects your availability date. Green grass and blooming trees can instantly improve the curb appeal of your photos!

We are looking forward to attending the MOAA Military Spouse Symposium in Alexandria, Virginia on March 23, 2015. Register today and join us for a fantastic discussion on "Keeping a Career on the Move".

We will also be in Huntsville, Alabama on March 31 - April 2, 2015 at the AUSA Global Force Symposium and Exposition. We would love to see you there!

Don't forget that April 15th is just around the corner and thankfully once again, Military OneSource is offering free online tax filing to our military families.

The look and feel of our site is something that we like to keep dynamic and the changes we make are often based on feedback and suggestions that our customers send to us. We love to hear from our customers, so please continue to contact us and stay tuned for exciting new features coming soon.

Every Dollar Must Count: Keeping Faith with America's Military Families

Everyone has an opinion to spout on budget cuts, particularly when it affects their family. Everyone wants their share of the pie. Top 4 Don'ts for Your Home Listing Photos!

After viewing one too many photos of your toilets (and let's keep in mind that one is really one too many), it seemed like a good idea to address the top 4 don'ts for your home listing photos, especially if you're doing a for sale by owner. Not really much to my surprise, I'm not alone in my distaste for snapshots of your commode. The survey also notes a continued income gap between armed forces spouses and their civilian counterparts. And if that isn't enough, 55% of respondents indicated it was "difficult" to find their current or most recent job.

Well, that's just dandy, you might be thinking, Why don't you also give me a nice paper cut and hand me a bottle of lemon juice to top it off?

While we all wish that the challenges that go along with military spouse employment would be fixed yesterday,
