Bless Your Heart: Step Up Resource Toolkit for Churches

Heart attack and stroke are among the leading causes of death in Virginia. In 2010, the Crater Health District had the highest rates of hospital discharges for heart disease and the third highest rate for stroke and heart attacks in the state.

Step Up, a special program supported by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, works to improve heart health in Virginia by focusing on getting active, eating smart, and quitting smoking. Check out this toolkit, Step Up Resources for Churches.

10 years in the Making, the New Petersburg Library is Now Open
