Affordable Care Enrollment in Petersburg

Richard Bland College, Enroll America, and the Petersburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta will host one of the last Affordable Care Act informational workshops available in the Petersburg region before the March 31st enrollment deadline. Free and open to the public, the workshop will be held on March 22nd and will include trained experts to answer questions and provide assistance regarding Virginia's new insurance marketplace, the application, and enrollment process.  
Free Home Repair in Dinwiddie
for Elderly, Low Income, & Disabled 
    



 As many as 73 local residents will benefit from the work of a projected 438 adult and teenage volunteers at a one week Group Cares Workcamp, coming to Dinwiddie this summer. Group Cares  is a non-profit, interdenominational Christian volunteer home-repair organization headquartered in Loveland, Colorado. CAPUP is now accepting applications for home repair projects.
