The Historic Beacon Theater Officially Opens


The heart and soul of the City of Hopewell has finished its revitalization. The Beacon Theater's  official grand opening was last week with a ribbon cutting ceremony and performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. The grand opening is the culmination of many years of restoration effort and more than $4.2 million as well as a legacy gift of $800,000 from Sue Gibbs to endow theater. See more upcoming events.

 

Community Innovation Award

ConnectVA is partnering with RichTech to spotlight innovative uses of technology in nonprofits through the Community Innovation Award at RichTech's 
Annual Technology Awards Gala
on May 14, 2014.
 
Nominations for this award will be accepted through this Friday, February 28th.
