Cameron Foundation approves two year-end grants totaling $800,000

Due to time-sensitivity and the significance to the larger community, the Foundation approved the grants at its last Board meeting of 2013. The two grants were awarded to the Better Housing Coalition and the Petersburg Library Foundation in the amounts of $500,000 and $300,000 respectively.

Inaugural Leadership Roundtable Group
Southside Leadership Class of 2013 with facilitator Najmah Thomas

Southside Community Partners is offering the second Executive Leadership Collaborative series consisting of five monthly learning circle meetings from Jan. 31st to May 30, 2014. Designed to provide executives with the opportunity to meet with their peers in a confidential, informal setting to discuss current leadership issues.
Using a case study approach, unique to Southside nonprofits, the light agenda encourages professionally facilitated dialogue - with participants sharing advice and guidance on different issues that they deal with on a regular basis. The series includes participation in an online leadership assessment and organizational assessment as well as the opportunity for peer coaching.

Facilitator: Najmah Thomas, Ph.D.
