The Petersburg Freedom Support Center grand opening is this afternoon, November 12 at 2pm. The Governor will join city and regional leaders to cut the ribbon for the new full service veterans center. Located at 32 W. Washington Street, the project is headed by Councilman W. Howard Myers, "The center offers a full range of services for veterans and their families including housing, workforce training and jobs, along with benefit support," he stated. The center will also house a number of agencies serving the needs of veterans.
