Regional Effort for School Readiness
Left Kids
Help your community improve school readiness. Share the kindergarten registration date:
April 11, 2013.

On-time kindergarten registration helps school systems more efficiently plan for attendance and ensures that children enter school ready to succeed. The counties, of Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Prince George, Sussex, and the cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell, and Petersburg all have a common date for kindergarten registration: April, 11, 2013. By regionally acting together, these localities are creating greater awareness on school readiness - children being prepared academically, emotionally, physically, and socially to enter school ready to succeed.
