Hopewell HealthSpace Teen Clinic Opens

Crater Health District recently opened the HealthSpace Teen Clinic located at the new Hopewell health Department. The clinic provides free and confidential reproductive education and clinical services. Services to teens ages 13-19 either by appointment or walk-in. Educational services include counseling on abstinence, nutrition, exercise, STDs, contraception, family planning, as well as sexual and reproductive health. Clinical service include reproductive health screenings, STD infection testing and treatment and appropriate contraceptives for pregnancy prevention. Sharmanay Boswell, HealthSpace Public Health Nurse Senior states, "HealthSpace is a safe, friendly, and confidential place where teens can access quality health information and services customized just for them!"
