Are you ready for Election Day 2012?
Tomorrow is election day and with Virginia one of a handful of swing states, your vote could determine the outcome of the presidential election. Virginia voters will also be casting a ballot for a tight US Senate race as well as House of Representative and local government. With so much at stake, some are concerned about voter fraud and voter suppression efforts, review this self-defense guide to prepare yourself. In addition, many nonprofit organizations are promotion the civic importance of voting as participation gaps challenge the mission or nonprofits and diminish the voice of of both the organization and the communities they serve.
