In many of our human interactions throughout the day, we are trying to prove our value and worth to others. But what about our relationship with God? Does God expect us to prove to Him that we're worth His love and favor? Are there a bunch of steps we have to take to win His favor or a secret formula that only pastors know on how to achieve God's favor? The Bible tells us God is "gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in loving kindness." If we really believe this, how does this change our view of life and our understanding of how God sees us?
