Last Sunday at The Gathering

THE ONE THING

Genesis Church exists to cultivate deepening relationships for Christ... helping each other to:

Begin...

Jesus Christ is at the center of who we are and what we do. We desire to know him and make him known to others. Our hope is to accurately connect the truth in Jesus Christ from God's Word to our everyday lives in order to be transformed from the inside out.

Belong...

We desire to live out Jesus through our relationships. He came to give us life so that we might bring that life to one another in the context of genuine relationships. In everything we do, Genesis strives to foster meaningful relationships with God and each other.

Become...

Jesus came not to be served, but to serve others and give up his life for us (Mark 10:45). We desire to serve others because Jesus did. At Genesis, we strive to raise up a group of people who will impact the world with Jesus Christ by unconditionally caring and serving others all around them.

This Sunday at The Gathering

In Petoskey:
The Gospel is the most incredible concept the world has ever heard, "God saves sinners." Communication can be brutal and unforgiving. But when the Gospel is the center, it changes everything including how we talk with one another. Join us this Sunday as we think about what the Gospel is and how it can guide our conversation patterns.

In Boyne City: Have there been times you felt your life was not impacting others in positive and spiritual ways? James teaches that it could be because we need to change our communication patterns with others. This Sunday, we will continue to look at some ways we can "tame" our tongue and grow in "Gospel-centered" communication. Faith plus action equals freedom.
