Happy Summer!

For
Manhattan Christian College Alumni

May-June 2014
2014 Graduation Goodness
May 10 was a terrific day!  A beautiful (windy, but we're used to that) morning and afternoon set the backdrop for our revamped Graduation Celebration Luncheon (at MCC) and Commencement Ceremony at the KSU Union.
Around 250 graduates, families, and friends enjoyed a complimentary luncheon and open house hosted by our Alumni Association, followed by the graduation ceremony, where 40 grads were honored and applauded (59 total degrees were conferred).  Kansas Senator Garrett Love (brother of graduate Marisa Love) gave the commencement address.

Please pray for our graduates as they begin new chapters in their lives!
Alums United!
On June 10-12, 30 alums and spouses from the late 1950's  converged at MCC.  They had a great time of catching up and breaking bread together.  Besides looking through old yearbooks, alums visited the Flint Hills Discovery Center, had lunch at Colbert Hills Golf Course, enjoyed an evening banquet in our renovated Jolliffe Hall, and worshipped the Lord together.

An MCC All School Reunion will be happening in 2015 (our last reunion was held in 2011).  Look for dates and info coming out soon!

How did MCC make a difference in your life?
MCC gave me opportunities to perform as a leader.  Even now as I have followed the Lord's call back to work at MCC, I am experiencing the preparation I had as a student.  Beyond that, I have been blessed with a steady friend group that started when I was a student - I'm thankful for the many memories from that time, and look forward to making many more great ones in the years to come!

Alumni friends: Don't forget to send address, email, and/or phone updates when changes happen.

And, remember to check our website regularly (www.mccks.edu) for updates and info - besides the alumni section, check out the "partners" section where you can watch and hear a monthly video message from Pres. Ingram.  We're happy to stay connected with YOU!
