Happy Spring!

Life with Jesus is good - beyond good!
What fills up your days?  What lifts your eyes to the Heavens to say "thank you, Lord!"?  As alumni and friends of MCC, we have so much to "lift our eyes" about.
Here at MCC, we have been busy with everything from Kerusso Dayz to Spring Banquet, from baseball games to a Spring Ministry Celebration.  Oh yeah, we can't forget classes and chapels!  Our overarching theme for these different college events and happenings is simple: Learning to live like Jesus.  We live, move, play, eat, worship, etc. to His glory.
So, what do you do to live to the praise of HIS glory?

2013kerdayz
2013 Kerusso Dayz International - serving the Lord!

On March 16, 8 MCC students traveled to Rocky Point, Mexico.  While there, they were able to help with work projects on houses, participate in Bible studies, and help with a kids camp.  Each of them came back fired up to see how God used their team.
Please be praying for a second Kerusso Dayz trip in May: several students will be headed to Brazil on May 21, where they will be involved in several different ministry projects including helping a church in Campinas with church planting efforts in another city, and distributing medical supplies in a ghetto of Rio De Janeiro.  God is good and we are thankful for open doors, willing hearts, and donors that make these trips possible!

How did MCC make a difference in your life?
MCC was very influential in where I'm at today.  The experience that I had helped me grow spiritually and personally to learn who I am and how God can use me.  MCC also opened doors for opportunities to serve and meet different people throughout my time there.  The relationships that I made at MCC will last a lifetime!

Spring Ministry Celebration
"Throughout the Endless Ages" was the theme of the 2013 Spring Ministry Celebration.  The celebration featured our MCC Worship Choir, Worship Band and Drama team.  Music selections were shared that spanned several centuries, narrators included interesting and inspirational history of faith in the lives of the composers, and the audience was invited to join in a contemporary worship medley.
If you were not able to enjoy this special evening in Jolliffe Hall, you can go the link below and see the recording.  Please enjoy! http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mccnetwork

Spring 2013 Crusader Connection!
Garden City was the site for our Southwest Kansas Area Crusader Connection on April 20.  Alums and their families/friends from the area came together for a time of food, fellowship, and a special update from Pres. Ingram.  New connections were made and door prizes were given away.   Thank you to all the alumni who were able to come - if we missed you this time, we hope to see you at another event in the future!

***Stay tuned and check the website in the months ahead for our
Fall Crusader Connection date and location.***
