Merry Christmas!

 

In just a few days we will celebrate another CHRISTmas - a wonderful time to reflect on

the birth of our Savior.  Our lives are wrapped up in His coming to earth and giving us the

"greatest gift" ever!

 

2011 is almost over - we now look forward to 2012 with great expectation.  What will the Lord accomplish through you?

Friday, October 28 was a fun night for many of our hoops-loving alums as they came
to town for some alumni
basketball goodness. 
Both teams played extremely well - and the annual post-game reception was a great ending  to the evening. 
Thanks to all who came to watch and play!

Name: Lindsey Morford

Education: BS in Animal Science/Agricultural Communications from KSU '08, MS in Counseling and Student Development from KSU '10

Ministry Position at MCC: Retention and Learning Skills Coordinator (Aug. 2011). 

What do you enjoy most about being on staff at MCC?

I really enjoy the people!  Because of my position, I get to interact regularly with both the Student Life staff and the faculty.  I also enjoy spending a lot of time with the students.  This job is never boring!

Thanks to all of our generous alumni!  During the months of November and early December, many of you responded to our campaign to raise support for campus signs.  Almost $4,700.00 was given to this cause.  We look forward to having you on campus in the future and welcoming you in a big way!  Alums - your support, both financially and in prayer, is needed and greatly appreciated.  Thanks again for making the decision to give back to your alma mater!
President Ingram makes trip to Uganda presuganda
On December 3, Pres. Kevin Ingram traveled to Uganda with alum and Lead Pastor Don Wilson of Christ's Church of the Valley in Peoria, AZ.   They had the opportunity to teach church leaders from many African nations at a special conference held in Kampala.
About 2,000 people attended the special time of teaching, praise and worship.  Praise God for men like Don and Kevin who use their speaking gifts around the world to benefit the Kingdom!
