Happy August!

For many of us, it's been a summer of working on keeping cool - and not complaining about the heat! (Phil. 2:14 comes to mind!)  From that thought comes Heb. 12:2 - "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith..."  True words and a great reminder!

The 2011-2012 school year will begin on Aug. 22.  Students began moving into the dorms on the 13th.  We need your prayers that God would be lifted up in our mission here!  New alumni postcard calendars have been mailed out - please let me know if you have not received one.  We may not have your correct mailing address.

Blessings for a wonderful Fall!

Recognition for MCC Library

This past Spring, our own MCC library was included in the American Libraries "Library Design Showcase".

Please click on http://americanlibrariesmagazine.org/librarydesign11 and see pictures under both "Reclamations and Renovations" and "Community Living Rooms".

We are proud of our library and thank God that our Jolliffe renovation was accomplished and is being used to continue educating our students to be tomorrow's Christian leaders!

Coffin Hall classrooms get new look!cl

Thanks to a generous gift, MCC has purchased new tables and chairs for the classrooms in Coffin Hall.  Along with a new paint job provided by 3 of our painter friends from the Phoenix, AZ area, the classrooms have a great, updated look!

Several of the old MCC desks are available and being stored for a few more weeks - please call or email me if you are interested in getting one/more!

($5 suggested donation per desk)

How has MCC made a difference in your life?

MCC gave me an overall understanding of the Bible which changed my life and the calling in my life.  She challenged me in my personal mission for Christ, and gave me the opportunity to grow - surrounding me with healthy Christian friends, peers and professors.  My heart is full of gratitude and affection for Bill Lown, Ken Cable, and Kevin Ingram as presidents who have given love and leadership to MCC over the years and to me personally!
