2011 Campus Campaign

 

From Jan. 24-28, the 3rd annual MCC NOW Campus Campaign took place and God once again blessed through the givers!

Between faculty, staff, students, and a gift from StuCo, almost $5,500.00 was given and will help to purchase items that StuCo members voted for - a milk machine for the Campus Center and new whiteboards for the classrooms in Coffin Hall. 

As we all come together, we understand that we unite in the name and honor of Jesus Christ to bless our campus, both now and for the future!

After several weeks of very wintery weather in Manhattan, we have been encouraged with some sunshine and warm days and it's fantastic!  I hope that no matter what the weather is in your area, you are being encouraged daily by the way, the truth, and the life - our Lord Jesus Christ.  Please enjoy this newsletter and know that you are being lifted up in prayer!

Featured Alumni: Remembering Charles Cook (1926-2011)
Alumnus and former Pastoral Ministries Professor (1979-1984) Dr. Charles Cook passed away Jan. 11, 2011.  Former MCC staff member and friend David Smale has written a beautiful description of Charles' life and ministry - please click on http://www.mccks.edu/alumni/dr_cook.html to find out how Dr. Cook's life touched so many.
