November-December 2010
Dear friends,
We are so thankful for God's constant presence and blessings for MCC in 2010.

For those of you who received a phone call from us in November (our Ambassador students tried calling all of our graduated alumni that we had current information for) - THANK YOU for encouraging them!  For those of you who took the alumni survey that was in our Sept-Oct e-newsletter, THANK YOU!  We appreciated your honest responses.  Dean Burton ('51) was the winner of our MCC hoodie - congratulations, Dean!  For those of you who pray for the college, you know we couldn't survive without it!  For those of you who choose to give financially and help MCC continue to minister, it is always a great and essential blessing.

For all of you, we are GRATEFUL!  Merry CHRISTmas and a beautiful  2011!!
bballAlumni Basketball Games 2010 - GREAT!
On Friday, Oct. 29, several of our alumni came together to "enjoy" running up and down the basketball court!  A good time was had at both the games and the reception afterward.  It was great to also have alums who didn't play still come to watch and be with friends at the reception - so if you didn't play or aren't in "playing form" anymore, we still would love to have you with us at future alumni sporting events!

Watch in upcoming months for the dates of our 2011 games!

2010 MCC NOW Alumni Campaign an awesome success!mccnow

I have a confession: I didn't think our alums would want to support something like "signs".  How boring.  WAS I WRONG!  As of Dec. 21, we've had 83 individuals or families give to the campaign, and 89 shirts have been sent out.  We've blown by our $8,000.00 goal in a big way, and are working with the City of Manhattan, the Kansas Dept. of Roads, and KSU to finalize plans for signs to be erected Spring 2011!  God is good - thank you for letting Him work through YOU!

  amorton   Featured Alumni: Allison Morton

Allison Morton is a 2010 graduate of MCC and KSU, majoring in Bible and Secondary Education.  This past Spring, Allison was one of two education students awarded the Outstanding Future Teacher Award from Kansas State.  She is currently living in Topeka, KS and teaching junior high English at Mission Valley USD 330.
Allison says, "I am amazed at how God can use me, an ordinary teacher, each and every day.  We serve an amazing God.  This career makes that more and more evident to me!"  Congratulations, Allison!

Don't forget!
