Year began: 2003

Jim originally worked in law enforcement, fire investigations, fire prevention/education and was an EMT before God called Him to serve with MCC. He  travels throughout the Midwest to update churches and individuals on the status of MCC and say thank you to those who generously give to the ministry of the college.

Jim and his wife, Devra have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

"I love working with students, staff, professors, and meeting with churches and givers that also love MCC like I do!"

Hello, alums!

How are you?  God has been so good to us here at MCC over the Summer - camp teams traveled safely and ministered effectively, our faculty was out and about and have returned ready for the new school year, President Ingram and other members of our administrative team also traveled many miles and were able to connect with many people, and many of our students were effective in internships and jobs where they could be the hands and feet of Jesus.

The 2010-2011 school year has just begun - we have a tremendous group of new freshmen and transfer students eager to be at MCC, and it's great to have our returning students back, maturing and working towards their goals.

Hopefully you received the alumni postcard that was sent out recently giving the dates for special alumni events during the 2010-2011 school year.  Please save the dates and plan to join us!
*Please let me know if you didn't receive the card - I'll get one to you right away!*

On August 10, a new MCC alumni advisory team met for the first time to discuss our past, present, and future where alumni are concerned.  A SWOT analysis was completed to see where our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats lay, and groundwork was laid for more discussion and ideas to implement in the not-so-distant future.
Alumni teams members are (l to r):

How did MCC make a difference in your life?
MCC was a great college environment to grow spiritually and to help me mature and prepare for the future.  Though my degree is not specific to my career, I still view and treat my job as a ministry and love being able to help MCC move forward with technology.  I also love serving students whenever I can!
Don't forget! Alumni Soccer and Volleyball games and receptions are this Friday and Saturday, Aug. 27-28.  All former players AND fans are invited!  Click here at http://www.mccks.edu/alumni/10_alumni_sc_vb.html to register!
