graduation Dear MCC Alums,
It's quiet around the MCC campus - the students were finished with finals by May 15 and joyfully taking road trips home or to an assortment of internships and mission trips.  Remember those days?  You might be in the midst of hitting the bleachers at the ball fields, or finding your favorite place at the kiddie pools and parks.  You may be busily preparing for VBS at your church, or you may be working, and planning a short get-away to see family over the 4th.  Whatever it is you are or will be doing, we pray that you will continue to be reminded of how much the Lord delights in you! (Jeremiah 9:24)

Financial Aid Survey
Chance to win an MCC hoodie!!!
Financial Aid Counselor Darci (Jeanneret) Webster ('03) wants to give students an idea of what life will be like after they graduate from MCC.  As alums of MCC, you can help us help them by honestly answering this short, 10 question survey.  The first 100 people to participate will have their names entered into a drawing for a chance to win an MCC hoodie.  Please only click on this if you are prepared to give your name, e-mail, and student debt information.  Thanks in advance for your participation!  Click here if you'd like to help.

Baseball Team places at National Tournament

baseball 09Under the coaching of Vern Henricks and Bobby Randall, the MCC baseball team had a very successful season, winning the regional tournament and traveling to Mason, Ohio to compete in the NCCAA National Baseball Tournament.  After losing to Toccoa College (the eventual champions) in the first round, MCC defeated Lancaster Bible College to advance to the third round.  They were beaten by Atlanta Christian College and brought home a 5th place finish.  The Crusaders were 21-20 overall for the 2008-2009 season.  Congratulations, Crusaders!

Economics Class Project
Blankets for Sudanese People

blanketsDuring Mr. Dale Levering's Spring 2009 Micro-Economics class, he offered his class an outreach opportunity in lieu of a final.  Through the missions organization Voice of the Martyrs, the class raffled tickets for a donated computer and printer in order to raise money for a ministry called "Blankets and a Bible".  Between funds from the raffle and donations from the class, enough money was raised to buy 20 new queen sized blankets.  On May 7, they were delivered to Bartlesville, OK, the donation center for VOM.  Way to go, students!
