THIS IS THE LAST WEEK!

5th period class competition

Each year Novato High participates in the Pennies for Patients charity fundraiser to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Last year NHS raised $1,001.29!

The winning class will be treated to a

PIZZA LUNCH during class!

Let's see if we can beat out last year's totals!

Artist of the Week

Tristan Mitchell

Tristan plays lead alto in Jazz 1 and is one of our star improvisers. He is not only a great player, but a leader in the program. He is the first student in the building every morning and often the last student out at night.

He was featured at the Folsom Jazz Festival this past weekend playing Duke Ellington's ballad "Isfahan." Amongst his many talents, he also does a great impersonation of Dr. J!

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK:

Paul Adkisson

Wrestling

Paul is an amazing wrestler with 100 wins and only 42 losses. He is a 3 time MCAL finalist and is looking to place in the top 3 in NCS to go to State. With his 4.3 GPA he hopes to be accepted to Stanford, Harvard, or UCLA studying Neuroscience.

Way to go Paul!

Novato High Now Has A

DIVING TEAM!!!

For the first time in a very long time,

Novato High will have a Diving Team!

The team will accompany the swim team to meets and compete as part of the NHS Swim & Diving Team.

Renown Marin County diver,

David Cotton will coach.

No diving experience necessary!
