2016...wow! Happy New Year! Hopefully you all had a relaxing and wonderful break with family and friends!
January is jam packed with events! This Friday, January 8th is a MOVIE NIGHT in the Old Gym at 7pm. We'll be playing "Marvels, The Avengers!" Check out details below!

Goodbye Mr. Celli
As many of you know, Rob Celli will be the Assistant Principal at Terra Linda High School starting on Monday, January 4th.
Prior to leaving for the break, a few students created a video to wish him farewell from some of the NHS staff and students.

SNAPCHAT GEOFILTER
ART CONTEST
First, a huge shoutout to whoever made the first NHS geofilter! However, ASB has decided to create a competition
to see who can
design another new Novato High
snapchat geofilter
Be creative and original!
Create a design and submit it to ssearle@nusd.org by January 8th, the Friday after we get back from break. A winner will be chosen and submitted to Snapchat,. If Snapchat approves the artwork, we will award the winner with $100. If Snapchat does not approve it, we will submit our 2nd place winner, and they will earn the $100, and so on. GOOD LUCK! Deadline is January 8th!

Fashion Show 2016
Art Contest:
Art Contest entries are due by January 15th by email (ssearle@nusd.org) or physically dropped off to Mrs. Searle's classroom 3601. Entries must be in black and white and no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches. Winner receives a $100 prize and 2 free tickets to the Fashion Show (March 26, 2016). |

Pennies for Patients
January 11th - 28th
5th period class competition
Each year Novato High participates in the Pennies for Patients charity fundraiser to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Last year NHS raised $1,001.29!
The winning class will be treated to a pizza lunch during class!
Let's see if we can beat out last year's totals!

NHS Open House
Save the Date:
Thursday, Jan. 21st from 6:00-8:00pm
This will be a MINIMUM DAY
at school to allow teachers to prepare
We will be showcasing the best of NHS with student presentations and displays in every department!
This is a wonderful opportunity to see the great things going on at NHS, talk with your student's teachers, and check out the class offerings for next year!
