Novato Unified School District is moving forward to place solar panels at all of the schools.

Hello Novato High Families! Novato Unified School District is moving forward to place solar panels at all of the schools. There are many benefits to this project, but we would like community feedback. The panels will require us to build a new structure as pictured below. The structure (highlighted in blue) cannot be attached to any current building and will hook-up to our main electrical source (red #1 in picture). Please take a minute to look at both draft proposals and our flyer, and then provide feedback using the link below.

Attention Seniors ! **PTSA Scholarship Information**

Any graduating student who wishes to apply for a PTSA Scholarship Award must be a registered PTSA member by the end of the 1
st Semester.Fill out a PTSA membership form ( click here for link) and turn it in to the Attendance Office with your $10 membership fee by Noon Friday, December 18th.
The scholarship application will be available beginning January 25th. Applications will be available in the College & Career Center.

Coming Spring 2016 at College of Marin
Dear High School Student:
College of Marin is pleased to continue to offer the "Jumpstart"
promotion this spring, so you can explore a way to reach your education goals that could save you time and money while providing you with the experience of participating in a college level class. Eligible high school students may enroll in up to 11 units and we will cover your enrollment fees (for a savings ranging from $46 up to $506!). You would only be responsible for the health, student representation, student activities, technology and transportation fees totaling about $50, in addition to any applicable materials fees and textbooks. This test is being offered free of charge but you must sign up in order to reserve a spot. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate drop-in students.

Campus Improvement Committee Workday
|
The Campus Improvement Committee will have its first campus workday on Sunday, December 6th from 1:30pm - 4:30pm.
We will provide snacks and you provide hard labor and a wheelbarrow!
Our plan is to weed, put down weed cloth and mulch around campus.
If you don't have a wheelbarrow, please join us anyway! If you can, please bring clippers, a rake, a shovel or pitch fork and gardening gloves.

Thursday 11/19 from 4 - 6 Make a stuffed animal into a zipper bag. A free work shop for teens at the Novato Library. Retire a stuffed animal from your own collection, or use one provided by us! Saturday 11/21 from 1 - 4: Celebrate International Games Day and check out the brand NEW South Novato Library.
