This week is RED RIBBON WEEK - a week about raising awareness regarding alcohol and drug use. Check out spirit days and fun activities below.
Our CROSS TOWN RIVAL FOOTBALL GAMES
are this Saturday, October 31st and our 3rd annual DINE N DONATE COMPETITION is this Tuesday (10/27) and Wednesday (10/28)! Gooooo Novato!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS to the SOPHOMORES! They raised $1,707.74 as a class, beating the other grade levels, accumulating 10 spirit points and winning SCHOOL WAR 1!

Artist of the Week
Marissa Reilly
(Marissa's self portrait)
Marissa Reilly is an AP Studio Art star. Her artwork speaks volumes about her talent and dedication to the visual arts. She is constantly reinventing her approach to her work, using creativity to guide her to her next masterpiece. Her style is a perfect combination of excellent skill and creative experimentation. Marissa took on the design of the Big Band Dance poster this year and created the spectacular poster posted around school (pictured below). She also recently started the Original Characters Club here at school, bringing together people who love to develop ideas for original characters in any medium. She leads this group of incredible students in their exploration of what inspires them to create imaginary characters in imaginary worlds and then provides a forum for discussion and further character development. Marissa is an outstanding student, friend, leader and artist and we are lucky to have her as part of the MSA family.

Girls JV Volleyball
Maddie had to cover the setter position at Friday nights game where she has been playing the libero position for most of the season. She hustles for every ball and works really hard every time she's on the court.
Way to go Maddie!
