October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
! Every Wednesday in October we would like everyone to wear PINK to help raise awareness. This awareness month also kicks off a new set of fundraisers we will be doing called "School Wars."
Monday, Oct. 5th through Friday, Oct. 23rd is "School War 1: COIN WAR." Grade levels will compete to fill up their jars with change. By the end of the Coin War, the class with the most money collected will win 10 spirit points!
October 5th is Neighborhood Night. Join ASB/Leadership and the NHS Administration as we meet with Novato High neighbors to discuss issues such as traffic, noise, etc. Anyone is welcome to join in the discussion! See details below.

Artist of the Week
From the moment Adam Brodsky auditioned for Rock Band, we knew we had a very talented drummer who would bring so much to the program. Adam has always shown professionalism beyond his years and a drive to be the very best. Adam is an innovative player who demands high standards from his band and is respected by everyone. Adam is the heartbeat of an ensemble and this beat shows a range of emotions that delight an audience.
Adam, like Animal from The Muppets, has great hair, knows not to eat a drum kit, is a passionate musician and knows not to take life too seriously.
Congrats Adam!

Girls Tennis
Charlie Rudy is one athletic sophomore! Not only does she dominate on the LAX field but on the Varsity Tennis team as well. This is Charlie's first year playing Tennis. Charlie beat her opponent from Redwood this week, and Redwood is the toughest team to play in the league.
Way to go Charlie!
