SAT Bootcamp Coming to Novato High
Sunday September 20th & Sunday September 27th
Catalyst is offering a two-day SAT Bootcamp to be held at Novato High on September 20th and September 27th. Students attend both days. This is ideal for students planning to take the SAT on October 3. Catalyst offers a reduced price of $95 for all students who qualify for free and reduced lunch and NHS Academic Boosters will also have scholarships available. Please contact Assistant Principal Nickl in the counseling office to request a scholarship. A portion of the proceeds from all full price sign ups for this Bootcamp will benefit NHS Academic Boosters. Sigh up soon to reserve your spot !

School-to-Career Partnership Internship

Internships look great on college and job applications and can give you important information about the work environment of your chosen career interest. Internship applications are available in the College and Career Center. The deadline to submit your Fall 2015 Internship Application is Friday, September 18th. Juniors and seniors are given priority of internship placements.

FREE SCHOOL SYSTEM
|
The California Constitution provides for a free school system. All school and educational expenses, whether curricular or extracurricular such as supply lists and/or fees for activities, etc., will be covered by the school or district. There are instances, however, when parents may be asked to donate toward an event, activity or classroom need as part of a program or fundraising activity. These donations and fundraising financial contributions are voluntary and all students will be allowed to participate regardless of whether the parent or legal guardian makes a donation or contribution.

La Constitución de California establece un sistema escolar gratuito. Todos los gastos escolares y educativas, ya sean curriculares o extracurriculares, tales como listas de suministro y / o honorarios para las actividades, etc., serán cubiertos por la escuela o distrito. Hay casos, sin embargo, cuando los padres se les puede pedir a donar a un evento, actividad o necesidad de clase como parte de una actividad de programa o de recaudación de fondos.
