CONGRATULATIONS TO
NOVATO HIGH SCHOOL'S GRADUATING CLASS OF 2015!
Please read this very important information about Graduation!
We are very proud of our graduating Class of 2015! We wish them the best in all of their future endeavors and know that they will continue to make us proud as they move onto the next chapter of their lives. It is such an exciting time and we want to ensure that the graduation ceremony reflects the significance of completing twelve years of schooling. The tradition of Novato High School is to conduct a graduation ceremony with decorum and dignity. Please spend time with your senior reviewing these requirements and reminders to ensure that the remaining school year and graduation ceremony are exciting and memorable!
Please give special attention to "Senior Expectations" at the bottom of this letter.
Graduation Ceremony Attire
Carefully consider the clothing worn for the ceremony. This is a momentous as well as serious event so each student is required to respect the following dress code.
1. Flip flops, stiletto heels and other footwear that may damage the field, be difficult to walk in or appear too casual SHOULD NOT be worn.
2. Professional attire must be worn. No inappropriate or overly revealing clothing will be allowed.
3. Gowns cannot be altered in any way. If the senior is receiving special recognition through a cord, special pin or stole, they should ensure that these items are secured as necessary with safety pins.
