Premier Solicits Opinions on Government Work Report, 13th Five-Year Plan

Premier Li Keqiang on Monday held a symposium to solicit opinions on the draft of the annual government work report and the country's 13th Five-Year Plan. Participants at the symposium include leaders of non-Communist political parties, officials of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and prominent figures without party affiliation.

China Confident of Raising Installed Nuclear Power Capacity to 58 GW by 2020

China can meet its target of achieving 58 gigawatts (GW) of installed nuclear power capacity by 2020, despite slower approval for new nuclear power generators following the Fukushima nuclear accident in 2011, a senior official said on Wednesday.
