The Department of Energy Scholars Program
The Department of Energy (DOE) Scholars Program is now accepting applications for Summer 2016. The deadline is December 15, 2015. The program introduces students or recent college graduates to DOE's mission and operations. The DOE Scholars Program presents students with the opportunity to explore a federal career with DOE at various stages in their education. Must be US citizen. Open to undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students.

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Lawrence Fellowships
The purpose of the Lawrence postdoctoral fellowships at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is to pursue cutting-edge science and stimulate cross-fertilization of ideas. The deadline to apply is November 1, 2015. Fellowships are awarded to candidates with exceptional talent, scientific track records, and potential for significant achievements. Typically two to four fellowships are awarded each year. Applicants must either be in the process of completing their PhD (within one year; employment may not start until PhD requirements have been verified), or have received their PhD degree within five years of being hired as a Lawrence Fellow.
