China Eyes New Energy Projects for Greener Development

 

China will push forward reform in energy production and consumption, and make energy use greener, said Premier Li Keqiang at the first meeting of the incumbent National Energy Commission on Friday, according to a press release issued on Sunday.

China plans to fold developers of military hardware into listed state-owned companies, giving them access to capital markets as the country prioritizes high-technology defense capability. The plan would allow military research institutes to be incorporated into state-owned enterprises. The policies, being drafted by the Ministry of Finance and other agencies, could be released as soon as next month.
