Is This the End? China's 'Jade Rabbit' Rover Hops to a Halt

Just over half way through its three-month mission, China's state space agency reported a glitch in China's lunar rover 'Yutu.' Now entering its second fourteen-day lunar night, the lunar rover is not expected to "wake up" from its hibernation. While the lunar rover achieved successes in its short life-span, including allowing China to become the third country in the world to achieve a lunar soft landing, it also marks disappointment for the scientific mission.

Domestic-made WS15 Engine to Advent in Future; J-20 to Undergo Major Modifications
国产WS15发动机未来若问世歼20将做重大修改

A Chinese military forum last week posted a picture of China's newest version of the J-20 stealth fighter dubbed "2011" in what is being called a major "makeover." Chinese media claim it displays AVIC's technical depth due to the short turnaround time. While naming China's yet-to-be-completed WS15 engine in the article title, the article reveals that the "2011" J-20 does not have any large modifications to the engine and appears to still use the AL-31F.
