On Friday, November 28, Martina McBride, American Country Music Singer & Songwriter, met & greeted fans & readers at a Reception & Booksigning with treats from her New Hardcover Cookbook Around the Table: Recipes and Inspiration for Gatherings Throughout the Year. Fans arrived before our Bookstore Opened and lined up around the block and inside our Bookstore! Roger's son Burke Doeren, a Cinematographer and his girlfriend Kellie Henika, a Producer, flew in from Santa Monica, California for Thanksgiving and helped our Staff manage the crowd flow and took Photos & Videos of the activities. Martina McBride performed her Hit Songs and New Songs at Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland the next night!
On Saturday, November 29, Al Micheals, the play-by-play voice of NBC's Sunday Night Football, met & greeted fans & readers, young and old alike, and celebrated the publication of his New Memoir You Can't Make This Up: Miracles, Memories, and the Perfect Marriage of Sports and Television. Fans arrived before our Bookstore Opened and lined up around the block and inside our Bookstore! Roger's son Burke Doeren, a Cinematographer and his girlfriend Kellie Henika, a Producer, flew in from Santa Monica, California for Thanksgiving and helped our Staff manage the crowd flow and took Photos & Videos of the activities. KSHB NBC 41 covered Al Michaels' presentation and Booksigning for the News! A young want-to-be Sports Announcer interviewed and recorded Al Michaels for a School project. Al Michaels Author Autographed Hardcovers of his New Book You Can't Make This Up to fill Special Orders that will be shipped globally. Mike Fleming, our City of Fairway Police Chief, compared notes with Al Michaels on his most famous call of a Football Game.

He started this Novel ten years ago, and was determined to complete what he started. He dedicates it to the memory of his Mom & Dad. Writing The Device renewed his passion to create and entertain. He is grateful that his wife, Michelle, who enjoys listening to his ideas and doesn't mind the time he spends telling the story.
