Remembering

In these coming days we remember the Communion of Saints who have gone before us. We also remember the souls of the faithful departed - our loved ones -who have gone before us.

Let us, in these days, be mindful of the love of God and the eternal salvation promised to all. Let us give thanks for those we knew and loved. Let us give thanks for all who served as models for us. We especially remember the lives of Fr. Chaminade, Mother Adele, Marie Therese, the Marianist martyrs, and the many men and women, religious and lay, who have inspired us and left us a legacy and vision to continue.

As we will one day be counted among their number, let us live our lives in harmony, joined with them and with our sisters and brothers around the globe, creating one family.

Let us pray

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.

And let the perpetual light shine upon them.

And may the souls of all the faithful departed,

through the mercy of God,

rest in peace. Amen.
