MLC
Lay Marianists Gather!

Delegates from the United States, Canada and Haiti will be joining lay Marianists from around the world, January 26 to February 2 in Lima, Peru at the International Assembly of the International Organization of Marianist Lay Communities.

Among the topics being discussed is how lay Marianists around the world live and express their faith.

In particular, the assembly will focus on the document Faith of the Heart in the Heartof the World. As delegates from all over the world share their thoughts on the document, we encourage you to read it as well. Perhaps your community can read it and discuss it as a way of sharing your faith. Discussion questions are available to guide your reflection!

You can follow comments from participants by "liking" the following Facebook pages:

Happy Anniversary!

On January 22 we remember and celebrate the life of Blessed William Joseph Chaminade. Celebrations will take place in communities across North America! If you have pictures to share from those events, please send them to us!

On February 2, Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, the Marianist Family celebrates Chaminade's founding of the first Sodality (lay community), giving birth to the Marianist Family. In remembrance of that, the Northeast Marianist Family Council has created and shared a prayer service. Thank you to the NE Marianist Family Council for this wonderful resource!
