Opening this Friday at the Lehman Loeb, check out American Stories 1800-1950, featuring American paintings - the founding strength Vassar College's art museum.
Locavore Weekend is happening out at Mohonk Mountain House - join in the celebration of local food, spirits, crafts, music and art, including the "Local-Flavor" Expo with local artists of the Wired Gallery.
Newburgh hosts everyone for last Saturdays this weekend - many openings and artists talks - check out the schedule!
Powerhouse Theatre is calling for applications for apprentices during this summer's season - check out the application and share with a talented young person.

NT LIVE: LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSE AT THE MOVIEHOUSE
In 1782, Choderlos de Laclos' novel of sex, intrigue and betrayal in pre-revolutionary France scandalised the world. Two hundred years later, Christopher Hampton's irresistible adaptation swept the board, winning the Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best Play. WORLD PREMIERE JAZZ PROGRAM
ACOUSTIC INFORMATICS
Acclaimed jazz pianist Dan Tepfer makes music at the intersection of jazz standards and avant-garde compositional practices. Joined by members of the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), Tepfer will use the Yamaha Disklavier digital piano in combination with iPhones and iPads to explore live musical improvisation and computer-driven algorithms through acoustic sound.

CALL FOR ARTISTS FOR DUTCHESS HANDMADE MOTHER'S DAY POPUP SHOP
All work offered must be original and made in the Mid-Hudson region. Work should be made by hand or with the use of artists' tools, whether it is a potter's wheel or hi-tech printer, and should be made with the artist's individual vision in mind.
