Greetings Art Lovers:

We are humbled that the Culinary Institute of America is hosting Cheers to the Beers Dinner this Saturday and Arts Mid-Hudson will benefit from the proceeds! Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour, four-course meal complete with beer pairings, and a silent auction - tickets are available and we look forward to seeing you there.

The weekend is here, where a cornucopia of arts and culture await! For instance, it's Beacon Second Saturday, where you will find many galleries open late as you stroll down Main Street. Check out the openings at Theo Ganz Studio, BAU 131, Riverwinds, and Mattewan galleries to name just a few!

If you are interested in the resurgent "do it yourself" communities springing up, head over to the Poughkeepsie Mini-Maker Faire this Saturday at the Poughkeepsie Day School - 10 am-4 pm. Lots of family-centric fun and hands-on activities!

In Kingston, Friday night is the opening of a retrospective exhibit of Estelle Tambak paintings - a lifetime of travel and artwork, including a catalog: 5-8 p.m. at the Cornell Street Studios.

This Saturday at Unison Arts Center in New Paltz, enjoy an evening of short plays, "Eats Shorts and Leaves" presented by Unison's Actors & Writers theatre-troupe-in-residence. 8:00 p.m.
