Dog Days at Cantigny

Bring your furry best friend and enjoy everything canine at this 7th annual event - the only day of the year when dogs can have their day in the park! Bring your dog out and enjoy a special dog play area, vendors from the dog world and some specially trained pooches to entertain. All dogs must have current vaccination tags and be social with others. Come enjoy plenty of special entertainment for all ages as well as vendor exhibits and sales.

Summer Daze

Summer Daze is Warrenville's summer music festival and car show. The event boasts children's rides, a craft show and bazaar, bands and local talent, karaoke, and delicious food and drink from local establishments. Hometown Picnic

What better way to spend a lazy, hazy summer day than at a picnic with old-fashioned games, contests, an apple pie baking competition and a vintage baseball game! Relive the exciting and interesting history of the Grand Old Game and enjoy the fast-paced action of bare knuckle baseball based on the original rules from 1858. Cheer on the Lemont Quarrymen as they take on the Deep River Grinders at 1 p.m. Visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic. All activities, including the game, are free with museum admission.

Oak Brook Polo

Polo has been played for more than 80 years at the historic Oak Brook Polo Grounds and everyone is invited to come out and watch the exciting "game of kings!" Polo is an exciting team sport played on a large grass field. Players on horseback attempt to score by driving a small ball into the opposing team's goal using a long-handled wooden mallet. The Oak Brook Polo Club has five match dates scheduled for 2014. August 9 is Lions Club International Day, August 16 is International Polo Day, and August 23 is British Day.

Bolingbrook Jubilee

Jubilee began as an expanded version of Pathways Fest, in celebration of the Village's 25th year of incorporation. Several years later, the Jubilee became a stand-alone event. The Jaycees will be sponsoring the traditional carnival in the front of Town Center and their Bingo tent on all three days on the grounds behind Town Center. There will be several activities just for the kids and more fun events are being added every day, so stop by in August and join us for a fun weekend!

Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ

The Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ Cook-Off will welcome BBQ chefs who want to put their grilling skills to the test in the 7th Annual Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ Cook-Off. More than 60 teams participate in the largest amateur competition in the state of Illinois, and more than 1,800 attendees enjoyed the event each year. All proceeds from the event benefited the homeless families served by Bridge Communities.
