VA Benefits for Home Care to be Restricted: Comment on Proposal Now
Aid and Attendance is an enhanced pension program available to veterans and surviving spouses to assist with the cost of medical expenses and long-term care at home or in an assisted living facility. The monthly benefit varies between $1,149 and $2,120, depending on whether the applicant is the veteran, a veteran with a dependent, or a surviving spouse. 

On January 23rd, the Veterans Affairs Department issued proposed regulations to change the eligibility criteria for Aid and Attendance.

Attend No Siblings Left Behind

For our April Monday Lunch for professionals, Cyndi Haddad, from Shepherd Financial Group and the Massachusetts Sibling Support Network, will provide education about sibling-related issues when one has a disability.

At this program, you will learn more about the sibling experience and the research on the impact of disabilities on siblings. You will also learn strategies and tips to support siblings and the growing sibling movement.

The program will be from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6th at our Copley Square office in Boston. Lunch is provided and seating is limited, so registration is required.
