On Thursday, May 15th, the Brookline Community Aging Network invites you to ask your questions from five elder care experts-- Ruthann Dobek, John Moniz, Rhonda Glyman, Paul Hollings, Ellen Lash--and gather information about home-based services and residential options for older adults. The experts will also share a growing array of new elder care resources.
The event will be held on Thursday, May 15th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brookline Senior Center on 93 Winchester Street, in Brookline.

How Can You Use Your Social Security Benefits as an Interest-Free Loan
One little-known Social Security retirement benefits rule is the so-called "do-over rule." Under this rule, individuals 62 years or older can start collecting benefits but stop the benefits within 12 months of the start, repay the benefits collected, and then still be eligible for their higher benefit amount when they collect at full retirement age or older.

Attend LSSW: Latest Developments in MassHealth Coverage of Nursing Home Care
In May, June, and September, we are combining our First Monday Lunch for Professionals with our popular Law School for Social Workers. Next Monday, May 5th, Attorney Jeffrey A. Bloom, will lead off this three-month series with a presentation on the latest developments in planning for MassHealth Nursing Home Care. One CEU Social Worker credit is available and non-social workers are also welcome, but seating is limited and registration is required.
