MassHealth Update Program Coming Up Soon
Join this one-day program on Friday, October 25, lead by leading Massachusetts elder law attorneys William J. Brisk and Harry S. Margolis (of Margolis & Bloom) to learn the most current MassHealth planning techniques, which still work, and which are being seriously challenged. The program will be supplemented in the afternoon with presentations by members from Elder Decisions, Modera Wealth Management, and Dobbie Insurance Agency on the many non-legal aspects of senior caregiving, including long-term care insurance and resolving family disputes.

Attorney Reprimanded For Failure to Properly Settle Case
Salem Attorney William R. Dimento recently received a public reprimand (No. 2013-6) by the Board of Bar Overseers (BBO) for both his failure to properly settle a Medicare lien and his repeated misrepresentation to his client that he was working to have the lien resolved when, in fact, he lacked the expertise to handle the matter.
