Green News Compliments of Magdalena Lorenzo
If you are taking a positive approach to your fitness by going to the gym or enjoying the outdoors, don't forget that what you are drinking to rehydrate is just as important as your fitness goals. Many sports drinks - Gatorade and Powerade to just name two have Brominated Vegetable Oil ("BVO"), a known flame retardant as an ingredient. BVO is added to sports drinks to keep ingredients from separating by emulsifying the product. Read your labels!
A good idea is to stick to old fashion water and to use a reusable water bottle to rehydrate.
