EAA Airventure Oshkosh 2015
What a Week!!!
     Oshkosh has always been the highlight of our year and 2015 was no exception. It was great to get one-on-one time with our amazing customers and to witness the greatest gathering of aviation enthusiasts in the world. We love every minute from setup to tear-down.
     Every day was packed with new and exciting attractions; from the phenomenal concert by country music star Dierks Bentley to the incredible Saturday night airshow, there wasn't a moment of down time.
     We'd like to take a moment to thank EAA and all of the volunteers who made this event possible. We heard stories of volunteers who were locals coming to help out as well as stories of volunteers coming from all around the country to pour into the aviation world. One gentleman told me that he'd been driving from Texas every year to drive the tram. Surely some of you volunteers are receiving this email and on behalf of Plane Plastics and everyone in attendance of Airventure: Thank you for your hard work and dedication to making this event more than just an event, but rather the greatest homecoming for aviation enthusiasts around the world. You are the unsung heroes that facilitate the wonder of the show. We know you probably don't do it for the attention but you all deserve a medal!
     Gator May made another appearance at Oshkosh. If you remember the story I shared from Sun'n Fun where she was kidnapped and her capture sent us ransom pics of her from all over the show, making appearances in warbird gun turrets, on the set of Airplane Repo and more. This show was no different, she got to see more of the show than we did! We hoped she'd find her way home at the end of the show but she is still on a hiatus. P.S. Gator May is actually missing. This is not a publicity stunt that we've conspired. She has made it to airshows and appeared in places we have not been. We may not have planned her disappearance but we do enjoy the pics of her marvelous adventures and we hope you get some enjoyment out of following her story too! She has a Facebook page under the name of April May from Lakeland, Florida if you are interested in following her journey.
