Highlights


Peter Quinter taught a seminar entitled "U.S. Customs' Enforcement of Trademarks" to 2,000 trademark attorneys during the International Trademark Association (INTA) Conference in San Diego, California. Next year's annual INTA conference will be in Orlando, Florida.

 May 27-30, 2015 - The ILS has planned an exploratory trip to Havana, Cuba. The trip will consist of an outstanding 'people to people' tour approved by the U.S. Government. Although it is focused on lawyers, the itinerary is flexible for non-lawyers, spouses, and significant others who desire to participate. The cost is all-inclusive (air, hotel in Cuba, food, transfers, escorted tours in English, entertainment, taxes, visas, meetings with prominent lawyers, etc.). The trip is sold out with 37 participants.

June Events

 

June 25, 2015 - ILS Joint Luncheon with Business Law Section at The Florida Bar Annual Convention, 12:00-1:30 PM. Annual Convention will take place at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.  Visit The Florida Bar's website to register online for the Convention and the luncheon. 

 

The ILS and Business Law Section will also have a joint reception on Thursday, June 25 from 6:30-7:30 PM.

June 26, 2015 - ILS Executive Council Meeting at Florida Bar Annual Convention, Boca Raton Resort & Club, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. 2015-2016 Committee Meetings will take place prior to the Executive Council Meeting at 9:00 AM.
