The ILQ is currently accepting submissions for its next edition, which will focus on International Construction Litigation and Arbitration. The submission deadline is August 15, 2014. This is an intensive and interactive specialized course led by Professor Jan Paulsson with guest lecturers from the Caribbean, including The Honourable Mr. Justice Jacob Wit of the Caribbean Court of Justice and Mr. Justice Boyd Carey (Ret.) who has served on the Courts of Appeal for Jamaica, The Bahamas and Belize.

Some Comments on the Interaction of Sovereign Wealth Funds and Sovereign Immunity in Light of a Recent Florida District Court Case: Capital Trans Int'l v. IPIC et al.

 

Victorino is an attorney admitted to practice law in Venezuela and an out-of-country member of The Florida Bar International Law Section. He currently serves as a Visiting Researcher at Florida International University College of Law as holder of a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) Fellowship.
