November 3-4, 2014 - The ICC invites you to its 12th Annual Miami Conference at the Mandarin Oriental on Brickell Key, Miami. The focus of this year's conference is "Theory, Technique and Practice of Arbitration." An advanced-level training, "Conduct of the Proceedings and Case Mangement - The Arbitrator's Perspective," will be on November 2, 2014.

November 17-18, 2014 - The ABA Section of International Law invites you to attend the "2014 North America Regional Forum: Doing Business within the Region and Collaborating Abroad" Conference on at the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The ILS is a Cooperating Entity on this event and members can take advantage of discounted ABA Section of International Law Member Rates by registering online and selecting the "Cooperating Entity" Rate.

Some Comments on the Interaction of Sovereign Wealth Funds and Sovereign Immunity in Light of a Recent Florida District Court Case: Capital Trans Int'l v. IPIC et al.


Victorino is an attorney admitted to practice law in Venezuela and an out-of-country member of The Florida Bar International Law Section.
