Precertification for 50% Investor Incentive Tax Credit Begins Next Week
|
Precertification for companies seeking to enable their investors to use Maryland's 50% Biotechnology Investor Incentive Tax Credit (BIITC) begins next week. From May 18th thru May 25th, Maryland's Department of Commerce will accept Form B applications for QMBC (qualified Maryland biotechnology company) precertification. Precertification will occur as soon as the applications have been reviewed, and notifications will be sent no later than June 6, 2016 so that qualified companies are able to register with their investors for the queue related to funds available July 1, 2016.
