Pumpkin Time for Mrs. Roberts' Class
Mrs. Roberts' class at Village Elementary was all about pumpkins recently! Students learned about the life cycle of pumpkins, read fiction and non-fiction stories about pumpkins, wrote about them and did a pumpkin investigation. Students worked on 3 addend word problems and they also measured the height of a pumpkin and counted the number of seeds inside. Students worked in groups and counted by 10s. They were amazed at how many seeds inside the pumpkin; one pumpkin had 512 seeds!
