feesEvent Planned to Honor Our Hardworking Court Clerks
Please add Thursday, June 28 to your calendar!

I am organizing an event to honor the hard working employees of the District and County Clerk's offices for Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. in the Jury Assembly Room of the Galveston County Justice Center.  A big group of appreciative attorneys are sharing the costs of a caterer.  This will be a great chance for you and your staff to meet the clerks and say,"thanks" for all they do for us.

wonderPatricia Grady to Seek Election for Galveston County District Clerk

Patricia Grady,  County Judge Mark Henry's Legal Liaison, is seeking the Republican nomination to be District Clerk.  Patricia is an experienced attorney and the wife of County Court at Law Judge John Grady.  She has resigned her position as Precinct Chair to seek the nomination, which will be voted on by the party Executive Committee, which consists of the precinct chairs.  The Democratic Executive Committee is to select their nominee on June 6.  The election will be in November as part of the general election to fill out the remaining two years of the term left open when Jason Murray resigned.  Doryn Danner Glenn is the interim District Clerk but has no intention of seeking election to the office.
