Celebrating 50 Years of St. Francis De Sales
Council Member Laster had the honor of presenting a Mayoral Proclamation on April 12th, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the St. Francis de Sales School in Sharpstown. The event also marked the dedication of a new Rosary Garden and sports deck, honoring past teachers.
Despite the rainy weather, there was a great turnout to celebrate this school's amazing contribution to the community. The St. Francis de Sales School began its first day of instructions on September 8th, 1964. It has successfully maintained its accreditations throughout its existence, and continues its work to maintain the highest academic standards.
